Haley Educators, artists, writers, and children are invited to meet internationally known children’s author and illustrator Gail E. Haley, who will sign her new book, Kokopelli Drum in Belly. It will be for sale, and a percentage of sales will be donated to the Pikes Peak Library District. Her many awards include the Randolph Caldecott Medal for A Story, A Story and the Kate Greenaway Medal for The Post Office Cat. Monday, October 20 from 3-6 p.m Teen Writing Workshop Work with your peers to improve your craft! Led by a published high school senior, these workshops are for middle and high school authors of poetry, short stories, and prose.
