New York Life Appoints New Partner Jeff Campos To Expand
Denver Area Sales Force
Jeff Campos has recently been appointed as Partner in New York
Life’s Denver, Colorado General Office. His responsibilities include
recruiting, training and developing new sales agents.
Prior to this position, Campos started American Family
Insurance’s Emerging Market Development department. He was responsible
for the Mountain Region, including Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and
Utah. There, he focused on reaching out to, and serving minority and
women’s markets. Through his leadership, the company became the
recipient of numerous recognitions and awards.
Campos, known for his business and community activism, serves as
a board member for several organizations, including the Denver Metro Chamber of
Commerce, Urban League of Metropolitan Denver, the Colorado Rapids Community
Care and Shaka Franklin Foundations. He also chaired the Take Your
Daughters & Sons To Work Day for the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce.
“I believe I can be most effective working in a decision-making role for
civic-minded groups,” says Campos. “I especially want to support
programs that give kids a positive vision and hope for the future.”
Among other commendations, he earned Emerging Market
Magazine’s 2002 “ Leading the Way” recognition for multicultural
leadership. In 2003, Campos earned the National Association of Hispanic
Publisher’s “Corporate Leadership” award for supporting community arts,
culture and educational programs. On August 28, he will become a recipient
of the Chamber of Commerce Award, presented during the Colorado Women’s
Chamber of Commerce’s Athena Awards luncheon. The award honors
individuals who excel professionally while devoting efforts to their community
and creating opportunities for others. | |
