Renovated PCC Library gains popularity
Usage is up 23% this fall at the renovated library at Pueblo Community
College. The reasons go behind the vast increase in circulation/materials. The
biggest reason is that the library has been renovated and has created an
ambiance that is student-friendly and comfortable. Free laptops (there 24 of
them) can be checked out at the counter and used while in the library. There are
swivel chairs, bistro chairs, love seats, couches, a big-screen HD TV that can
be listened to without headphones, group settings for team work and even a copy
center to make copies, use a paper cutter and a stapler. Oh yes, there's also a
kids corner.
Come join us and see what it's all about. The library is in the Davis Academic
Building, located at the corner of Orman Avenue and Arthur St.
